Send Number of Licenses and Their Cost Along with Billing to ConnectWise PSA
MSP360 has enhanced its integration with ConnectWise PSA, making billing more efficient and flexible for MSPs. The new update allows MSPs to sync billing information not just by data usage but also by the number of licenses, enabling more accurate and automated invoicing.
With this release, MSPs can now:
- Sync billing information by both data usage and license count.
- Automatically generate invoices for MSP360 licenses without manual data entry.
- Enable direct billing for all clients within ConnectWise PSA, eliminating the need for workarounds.
Here’s how MSPs can set up cost and price for each MSP360 product:
Please refer to the Cost section as the amount paid by a provider to MSP360, whereas the Price section refers to the amount paid by a customer to the provider.
In order to configure billing for a specific customer, go to Settings tab, ConnectWise PSA section and configure the billing options for a selected customer:
Easier Backup Configuration with Templates
We've made it even easier to apply and manage backup settings for your endpoints:
- Apply Backup Templates: easily apply an existing backup template directly from the computer settings page, streamlining the setup of new endpoints.
- Create Templates from Existing Configurations: turn a reference backup configuration into a reusable template straight from the computer’s settings.
- Clone Backup Plans: quickly duplicate backup plans by copying them from one endpoint and pasting them to another.
Other Updates and Improvements
Also, in this release, we've introduced several improvements that enhance overall usability. Here’s what’s new:
- Wasabi Unified Billing Details: Unified Billing customers can now download detailed Wasabi storage billing reports with a daily breakdown of data usage for better analysis and cost tracking.
- Billing Period in PDF Invoices: payment tracking now includes the billing period.
- Faster Object Listing for Backups and Restores: we’ve reduced the wait times when selecting files for backup or restore.
- Easy Access to Help and Documentation: each page in the web console now contains direct links to relevant help materials in case users run into issues.
- Public API Enhancement: new API capabilities allow you to authorize, deauthorize, and check the authorization status of computers, streamlining device management.
- Quick Filters with License Counters: license counters now act as instant filters, making it easier to navigate and find specific license data on the Licenses page.
