This article explains how to use the "Multi-Object Delete" feature of Amazon S3 in MSP360 Explorer.
Multi-Object Delete is a feature of Amazon S3 that helps customers to delete more than 1 object from their Amazon S3 bucket. The Multi-Object Delete enables users to specify up to 1000 objects to be deleted within a single request.
MSP360 Explorer v. 3.2 and later versions come with full support for Multi-Object Delete. There are no much changes in the user interface. Simply select multiple objects and click Delete.
A single request will be sent to the server instead of a number of requests making the whole process more efficient.
If you have more than 1000 objects to delete, several batches will be created, up to 1000 objects each. You can also delete a folder with files (objects), other subfolders, and even the whole bucket.
Note: this post applies to MSP360 Explorer 3.2 and later.
