This article overviews how Amazon S3 lifecycle rules can be set for buckets with versioning. To set lifecycle rules we will use MSP360 Explorer.
Especially for developers, Microsoft Azure gives an opportunity to work with a local emulator for Azure Storage – Microsoft Azure Storage Emulator which is available as a part of Microsoft Azure SDK (for more information see Difference Between the Storage Emulator and Azure Storage Services).

Some OpenStack-based cloud storage service providers have multiple services that can deal with data, kept within the cloud storage. To transfer data between different services are used internal networks of data centers. In most cases, data transfers within one data center are off charge while interactions with the outside data are paid.
For managing internal data transferring, cloud storage providers allow attaching internal (private URLs) for users’ data. MSP360 Explorer PRO for OpenStack supports internal URLs and allows moving, copying, and modifying data inside of the OpenStack-based cloud storage. It makes it easier to move data within the internal network of cloud storage with no need to pay for ongoing and outgoing traffic.

Today we are glad to present an upgraded MSP360 Drive - a powerful application for Windows which allows mounting cloud storage as a local drive. Now MSP360 Drive can be installed and configured via the Windows Command Line interface and supports regions for OpenStack-based cloud storage services.
