We've been hard at work on the next major release of MSP360 Backup and today we're excited to announce version 6.0 which brings several, highly-anticipated new features and performance improvements to the product.
In addition to upload resumption, image-based backup in MSP360 Backup 6.0 gets a performance boost that reduces restore times by up to three times.
MSP360 Backup already offers backup resumption for file-level backup which lets users continue an interrupted backup plan without having to re-upload the entire data set. In release 6.0 we extend this functionality to image-based backup.
MSP360 Backup 6.0 brings two notable improvements to S3 backup — direct upload to Glacier and support for Amazon's latest Intelligent storage tier.
